On March 7 FLEX Alumni organized the celebration of the International Women’s Day . Dovran Balyshov and Fatima Kubatayeva, FLEX alumni ’07 made a presentation on International Women’s Day introducing some facts on world women’s history. International Women's Day has grown to become a global day of recognition of women across developed and developing countries. Annually on March 8, thousands of events are held throughout the world to thank women and celebrate their achievements. Everybody at the American Corner congratulated women and girls on International Women’s Day.
One of the visitors, Nargiza Djorayeva said: “I liked the presentation as it had a lot of new information. I spent a good time with my friends.”
Results: The attendees of American Corner learnt some new facts about Women’s history. They also had an opportunity to congratulate their friends on the holiday.
