Many active members of ACT had been anxiously waiting for English essay class and they finally got this opportunity for learning how to write correct and bright essays. On October 21, Bahar Altiyeva ’09 arranged her first club English Essay Class at ACT. With excitement and enthusiasm Bahar entirely prepared for the first class making handouts for students in which included the rules and order of a good essay and the plan-thesis about upcoming topics of compositions and several discussions. The goal of a club is not only to show members how the good essay should look but also to point to the right way of writing and to develop their thinking skills. About ten students joined the club. On the first class students were already introduced with the three parts of an essay as introduction, body and conclusion. Then they were discussing and analyzing the Harry Porter books from which they made up their own opinions. It was definitely the first step toward development of thoughts without what’s impossible to write an excellent composition.
