INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION WEEK IN DASHOGUZ

On November 16, International Education Week had started at the Dashoguz American Corner. Dashoguz American Corner staff members Nargiza Orunbaeva (Dashoguz American Corner Regional Representative) and Anahan Seytmedova (Dashoguz American Corner Alumni Assistant) opened the Ceremony for 75 Dashoguz American visitors. Flyers and Schedules of the International Education Week were distributed to the visitors. The main purposes of conducting the International Education Week were to widen the awareness of the Dashoguz community about US Education Opportunities, different Grant Programs, and to share the experiences from Academic Exchange years with all attendees. During the week the following presentations were conducted for attendees:
On November 16, Diana Haitjanova (AUBG Program Coordinator), presented information about American University in Bulgaria for 70 attendees of the International Education Week at the Dashoguz American Corner. The main purpose of the presentation was to encourage potential students to apply 2010 Academic year to American University in Bulgaria.
On November 17, Tatiana Minayeva (FLEX Program Coordinator) presented information about FLEX Program for 45 high school students at the Dashoguz American Corner. The main purposes of the presentation were to widen the awareness about FLEX Program among Dashoguz youth and to encourage eligible high school students to apply.
